For the Brownie Layer:

½ cup (115g) unsalted butter

4 oz (115g) dark chocolate, chopped

¾ cup sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp cocoa powder

For the Cheesecake Layer:

8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened

¼ cup sugar

1 egg
-
½ tsp vanilla extract
🍳 Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Make the brownie batter: Melt butter and chocolate together, then whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt — mix until smooth.

Make the cheesecake layer: In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until creamy.

Assemble: Pour most of the brownie batter into the pan. Spoon the cheesecake mixture on top, then add dollops of remaining brownie batter. Use a knife to swirl the layers gently.

Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the center is just set.
