🍰 Ingredients

For the Brownie Layer:

  • ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter

  • 4 oz (115g) dark chocolate, chopped

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • Pinch of salt

For the Cheesecake Layer:

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • 1 egg

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. Make the brownie batter: Melt butter and chocolate together, then whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt — mix until smooth.

  3. Make the cheesecake layer: In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until creamy.

  4. Assemble: Pour most of the brownie batter into the pan. Spoon the cheesecake mixture on top, then add dollops of remaining brownie batter. Use a knife to swirl the layers gently.

  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the center is just set.

  6. Cool completely before slicing for clean, beautiful swirls.
