Cranberry Nut Nougat Bars

  • 2 cups mini marshmallows

  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1 ½ cups mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts, or pistachios)

  • 1 cup dried cranberries

  • ½ cup dried apricots or raisins (optional)

  1. Prepare the pan: Line a small rectangular baking dish (about 8×8 inch) with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

  2. Melt the base: In a large heatproof bowl, melt white chocolate chips, butter, and marshmallows together (use a microwave in 30-second bursts or melt over a double boiler). Stir until smooth and creamy.
